Caring for Your Marble
Preserving the beauty of natural stone, the LITHOS way.
Each creation is carved from natural marble – a material celebrated for its timeless elegance and unique character. With a little mindful care, your piece will remain a part of your story for generations.
Daily Care
Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth.
Avoid abrasive cloths or harsh scrubbing.
Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
Marble is porous – lingering moisture can lead to staining.
Avoid prolonged contact with oils, acids, or spills.
Common household items like citrus, wine, or perfumes can etch or stain the surface.
Protection Tips
Use coasters or mats under candles, vases, or anything that could trap moisture.
Keep away from high humidity zones such as bathrooms unless sealed appropriately.
Do not place in dishwashers or soak in water.
Hand-cleaning only is recommended.
Long-Term Maintenance
Avoid chemical cleaners.
Stick to pH-neutral stone cleaners if needed.
If a spill occurs, blot – don’t rub.
This prevents spreading the stain deeper into the stone.
For deeper cleaning or restoration, consult a stone care specialist.
